The Shamrock Novetus Alliance (SNA) is a strategic alliance between Shamrock Ltd. (Trinidad and Tobago) and Novetus Engineering LLC (Houston, Texas) established to perform independent verification services on behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI), Trinidad and Tobago.

SNA is fully authorized by the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries, Trinidad and Tobago, as a “Certified Verification Agent (CVA)”

Our Services

As a Certified Verification Agent, SNA is approved to undertake verification activities during the Planning, Design, Manufacture/Procurement, Construction and Commissioning phases as per the MEEI’s Verification Guidelines for Offshore Structures, Pipelines, and Hydrocarbon Processing Facilities.

Our CVA Services cover upstream, midstream, and downstream industries of the energy sector all of which are required to conform to the MEEI Approval Regime and verification requirements. This includes but is not limited to:

Fixed Land-Based Facilities

Upstream – Hydrocarbon production, processing and gathering stations, Condensate stabilization, Gas compression stations

Midstream – Pipelines, Slugcatcher facilities, Natural Gas conditioning facilities

Downstream – Refineries, petrochemical plants, LPG bottling plant, LNG

Fixed Offshore Facilities

• Offshore production/ processing/ gas compression platforms

• Sub-sea facilities,

• Pipelines – Export facilities such as SBM/PLEM

• Loading arms inclusive of piers / jetties

Floating Offshore Facilities

• Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels
